Rapid Aerial Deployment
English:
This game, a real time strategy game was inspired by the Megadrive/Genesis game.
Your goal is to destroy the enemy headquarters by building units from conquered factories and sending them to the enemy base. The difference between this game and other realtime strategy games is that you don't control a cursor to select and place units. You control a transporter plane to place the units and you can also transform to go into battle yourself.
The controls are very tricky:
First you have to take in as much factories as you can.
How:
- Press space to open the Build Menu
- Select "Soldier" as unit (use arrow keys to select)
- Select "Occupy Factory" as program
- Select Build and press C (action key)
- Press space to close the Build Menu
- Fly with your plane above your Head Quarters
- Press C to load the soldier into your plane
- Fly to an open space nearby the factory
- Press C to drop the soldier
The soldier will enter the factory
At this manner you have to fill every factory with 4 soldiers.
You can put a tank or something nearby the factory to protect your buildings.
How:
- Press space to open the Build Menu
- Select "Tank" as unit
- Select "Attack" as program
- Select Build and press C (action key)
- Press space to close the Build Menu
- Fly with your plane above your Head Quarters
- Press C to load the tank into your plane
- Fly to an open space nearby the factory
- Press C to drop the tank
If you want to attack the enemy plane:
- press X to shoot
If you want to attack a building or an enemy at the ground:
- press C to transform your plane into a robot
- press X to shoot
- press C to retransform your robot into a plane
Rapid Aerial Deployment is a very nice game and the gameplay would be great if it was much easier to control your units. (eg. mouse and some hotkeys instead of open Build menu + selecting everything). In my opinion, because of the bad controls, the game is almost unplayable against the computer. But you can play it against another human player too and then you can fight with the same weapons
